The academic
structure of the school is organised to encourage interaction
among the students and between the students and teachers and the
students and teachers and the management. The accessibility of
the students to the teachers and the management is facilitated.
There are regular parent - teacher meetings to encourage the
cooperation of the students, teachers and the parents for the
development of the students. The distribution of work among the
management members prevents any rigid vertical hierarchical
structure. This has been integral to the working of the school.
St. Anne's has always considered
academic work to be of prime importance. Efforts are made to
encourage the brilliant pupils to bring out their best, guide
the average pupils to better themselves and help the weak pupils
to cope with their studies. The excellent public examination
performance of the students of the school are the result of the
endeavors.
Since the school emphasizes the all round development of the
students, co - curricular and extra - curricular activities are a
part of a student's time in the school. Child craft
exhibitions, Science exhibitions, Quiz contests, English and
Hindi Debates, Recitation contests, Fetes, Sports festivals and
Annual Day Celebrations have a significant role in the schooling
of children in St. Anne's.
Through the years the school has tried to provide more and more
facilities. Its large generator ensures the continuous supply of
electricity. Its printing press has made possible the printing
of material, for academic and also made easier the bringing out
of its fortnightly newssheet, St. Anne's Newsline meant to
develop the writing ability of its students. There are two large
well - equipped laboratories. Its cooling plants provide pure and
cold water and its canteen a variety of snacks and drinks.
